all you have to do is delete any extra small partitions that live on your hard drive using windows disk management. that is the virus. then you can use microsoft security essentials to confirm removal

Agreed, dos/Alureon.e located in hidden partition, used Partition Magic to delete, virus irradicated, simple as that.

Great solution, deleted the extra partition (OS2 Partition), scan no longer reports dos/alureon.e
